• Share your interests with Admissions: If you haven’t already, let us know what matters most to your family, and we’ll provide personalized guidance tailored to your child’s interests, strengths, and goals.
• Visit our campus: Join us for a morning campus tour, starting with a short information session where you’ll learn more about NBPS’s programs, values, and student experience. Afterward, explore the campus, see classrooms in action, and get a feel for student life.

Step 2: Understand NBPS Application Requirements

Once you’ve explored what makes NBPS special, it’s time to prepare your child’s application. Requirements vary by grade level, so here’s what you need to know to get started."

Our admissions team takes a comprehensive approach to reviewing applications, considering each child’s academic background, strengths, and readiness for our programs. As part of this process, we require the following documents to gain insight into your child’s academic background and readiness for our programs:

General Application Requirements (All Grades)

• Admission Application form
• Teacher Recommendation form
• Copies of current academic records. We require report cards/progress reports reflecting previous year and current mid-year information. We have a Request for Records Form for your convenience (if applicable).
• Copy of standardized test scores (if applicable)
• Copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport

Early Childhood and Lower School Applicants (PreK - Grade 5)

In addition to the general requirements, applicants for Early Childhood and Lower School must also:

• Complete the Lower School Admission Application Supplement form
• Submit a Teacher Recommendation form

After you submit all required documents, our admissions team will contact you about next steps, including assessments or classroom visits if needed.

For Middle and Upper School Applicants (Grades 6 - 12)

Students applying for Middle and Upper School must also:

• Complete the Upper School Admission Application Supplement form
• Ask their current principal, assistant principal, or school counselor to complete and submit the required Head of School Recommendation Form. 
• Submit standardized test scores (SSAT, FSA, etc.)
• Complete the Applicant Student Statement Form
• Students seeking admission to our residential life program must also complete our Boarding Admission application process and be prepared to virtually interview with NBPS’s Boarding Admission Manager.

After submitting all required documents, our admissions team will review the application and provide next steps, including any assessments or interviews if needed.

Step 3: Submit Your Online Application to NBPS

Now that you’ve gathered the necessary materials, it’s time to take the most important step—submitting your child’s application.

The online application is designed to be simple and user-friendly, ensuring families can move through it with ease. North Broward Prep uses Ravenna, a trusted application portal used by top independent schools,, to streamline the admissions process. Here’s how to submit your application:

1. Complete the online application form. Begin the process by submitting your child’s application through our website.
2. Create a Ravena account. After submitting your initial application, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to set up your Ravenna account.
3. Upload required documents. Submit all necessary forms, including transcripts, teacher recommendations, and test scores, directly through Ravenna.
4. Track your application status. Ravenna allows families to monitor their progress and receive updates from the admissions team.

Once submitted, families will receive a confirmation email and can reach out to admissions representatives at any time with questions.

Step 4: Track Your Application and Stay Engaged

Submitting an application is an exciting milestone, but your family’s journey with NBPS doesn’t stop there. Staying engaged in the admissions process helps ensure you feel informed, confident, and connected. • Attend Events & Webinars – Prospective families can continue learning about student life, extracurriculars, and leadership opportunities. These events provide applicants and their families an inside look at NBPS student life, extracurricular opportunities, and academic programs.
